ProPath 5 adds complete management for SQLite and Firebird databases. Create and switch between multiple databases at runtime. Firebird support includes seamless switching between embedded and client/server connections. SQLite provides compact, self-contained data management with zero setup.
FirstDeploy technology
FirstDeploy deploys files into UAC-approved locations at runtime. Bundle files into deployment containers using the included ProPathLoader utility. Place containers in your application directory with your installer, and ProPath deploys them automatically into UAC-safe locations at runtime.
Deployment rules include Always, Once Only At Startup, and On Startup If Files Don't Exist. On-demand deployment via code templates lets you repair missing files or convert a demo version to live at runtime.
INI and registry management
ProPath manages your application INI automatically. Control third-party INI files including CapeSoft FM2/FM3. Use Known Folders, the Windows Registry, or external control files to manage paths. First Run Technology lets users confirm or select a data path on first startup.
