ImageEx is the only graphics and imaging library written exclusively for Clarion. It gives you everything you need to add professional image handling, scanning, photo manipulation, and high-performance graphics to your Clarion application - with full template support so you can use it without writing a single line of code.
ImageEx is also the foundation for ProScan and ProImage. If you plan to use either of those products, ImageEx is required.
Image display and formats
ImageEx displays images in 19 popular file formats with more than 40 different file extensions, including TIFF, PNG, and PCD - on both windows and reports. Fast, flicker-free zooming and panning with mouse wheel support. Panoramic image viewing with user-defined clickable hotspots.
Image processing
Full 32-bit image support with 24-bit RGB and 8-bit alpha channel. Adjust contrast, brightness, intensity, gamma, and color correction. Resize, rotate, flip, and skew images. Special effects including mosaic filter, convolution filters, and colorizations. Direct pixel access for advanced operations.
Scanning
Royalty-free TWAIN scanning with no additional third-party files required.
Drawing functions
Advanced drawing functions including line, rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, polygon, and pie - with alpha channel support and antialiasing for smooth results. High-quality text transformations including scaling, rotating, and skewing.
